The UK government-funded centre looking at connected vehicle technology will run the UK’s first Intelligent Mobility Hackathon in November.
According to organiser, the Transport Systems Catapult (TSC), the two day event dubbed IMCreate will use real transport data to address critical problems within the UK’s transport network.
Connected vehicles and intelligent road infrastructure will be just one element of the hackathon which is intended to develop ideas about all forms of transport in the UK.
The Transport Systems Catapult’s Imovation Centre facility is also home to the government’s LUTZ pathfinder driverless car project.
