Briteyellow was established in 2003 by founder and CEO Fredi Nonyelu – who is also the chairman of Biztech.

The company has evolved into a deep technology company specializing in indoor location-based information systems.

“Never has the world been more in need of technological innovation as we look to creating a new normal,” said Briteyellow CEO Fredi Nonyelu.

“Our work in indoor positioning and navigation is as ideally suited to helping in a new world of social distancing and COVID-19 security as it is in giving confidence to customers and venue managers.

That’s why we are rolling up our sleeves and it’s so pleasing for this to be recognised in the Barclays Entrepreneurs Award 2020”.

Despite all the challenges of the pandemic, it has been a year of significant success for Briteyellow.

With three months of 2020 to go Briteyellow have seized new growth opportunities.

We were awarded an Innovate UK grant to accelerate the development of a wearable and app for elderly people living alone or in assisted living.

This product is scheduled for release during the first quarter of 2020 and will enhance the protection and care quality for vulnerable elderly people.

Another solution developed by Briteyellow for train operators was a winner at the first ever virtual demo day held by the Transport for Wales innovation lab.

It is a passenger experience app for journey planning, navigation and crowd management to help rail operators enhance passenger experience and improve operational efficiency.
