Success in challenging times

We are delighted to invite you to The Innovation Den, University Campus Milton Keynes for the local launch of Kingston Smith’s research into the accessibility of finance to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), from the Business Schools of the Universities of Surrey and Greenwich. The project follows on from an initial report launched by the firm in October 2012 which identified the factors that create innovation and business success among SMEs.
The research, which is being led by the same team of academics, explores the criteria and processes that banks apply when considering applications for finance by SMEs, from both sides of the process. The report will include first-hand information gathered from face-to-face interviews with five of the UK’s major banks and challenger banks, as well as business owner-managers from a range of sectors.
Places are limited, as we expect this to be a very popular event.
