Milton Keynes is one of the most advanced new towns in England. Especially when it comes to technology, education and innovation, MK has some incredible support and resources available to youngsters, start-ups, and entrepreneurs with tech ambitions. MK Innovates is one such example. It is a popular and successful festival that is aimed at increasing awareness about the future of technology and inspiring youngsters to pursue a career in tech. Started as part of British Science Week on the 8th of March, this social media festival will run until Friday, the 12th of March and will showcase exciting STEM (Science Technology, Engineering and Maths) initiatives and ideas.
The daily social media campaigns and events have been extremely popular among the young students who get to participate and enjoy games, quizzes, and science and construction projects, while also getting to learn from talks and videos of real-life apprentices and trainees working on the field. The online event has included big names such as Anglian Water, Niftylift, Cranfield University, MK College, SCIoT, NatWest, Network Rail and HORIBA UK, among others. MK Innovates runs from 9 AM to 5 PM everyday with hourly content slots. You can check out their content on any of these channels:
